Three challenges to Anne Milton MP for 2018

1 Jan 2018

The New Year is traditionally the time for taking a look at the previous year, considering its' successes, reviewing what you would do better or differently and setting goals or challenges for the coming year.

In the spirit of this New Year, new challenges tradition the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson Zöe Franklin has set three challenges to Guildford and Cranleigh's MP Anne Milton for 2018.

1. Listen to the real concerns of the people of Guildford about the impact on our economy and jobs that Brexit will have locally and represent us better in Parliament.

2. Fight for better and more planned funding for healthcare, the Royal Surrey Hospital and mental health care

3. Use her powers as Minister of State for Apprenticeships and Skills to get a grip on the very real financial problems which further education (FE) faces nationally and locally. If she really supports Brexit she will know just how important skills training and vocational courses will be to replace the workers who will be leaving the UK and who are essential to the construction industry and to providing care.
