James Jones

Guildford Borough Councillor for Onslow

James Jones is 24 years old and recently moved to Guildford. He is keen to bring a fresh perspective and represent younger voices in our vibrant commuter town. He is a supporter of improving Guildford's nightlife and more generally, its night time economy.

James has a progressive mindset towards policy and action, particularly in regard to health, the environment, and welfare. He is a big believer in the power of communities and what they can achieve with shared beliefs and goals.

James says, "I strongly believe that I can deliver for local residents of all ages and backgrounds. I also want to protect Guildford's green spaces and beautiful landscape - North Downs / Surrey Hills is a favourite running spot of mine."
