Sean says, "I have always been interested in politics and am standing as a candidate because I love living in this part of our beautiful town and am keen to make sure our local community is properly consulted about all matters that affect Westborough and the whole of Guildford."

County Councillor Fiona White

Fiona has lived in Surrey since 1981, she has two adult children who live locally and three grandchildren.

Fiona was first elected as a borough and parish councillor in 1991 and served on Guildford Borough Council until 2011.

While the Liberal Democrats were the largest political group on the borough council, we introduced Community Safety Wardens who have contributed so much to the community safety teams in the Borough and a Dial-a-Ride system for those who cannot use public transport. Fiona was elected as a County Councillor in 2005 and has been the Lib Dem spokesperson on Adults Social Care ever since.

Fiona says, "It is a role I take very seriously as the number of people needing the service is increasing year on year while resources are shrinking."
