Steve Hives
Guildford Borough Councillor for Stoke
Steve Hives is a resident of Guildford having moved here in 2007 and his son attends a local school. He works with the NHS both locally and nationally, and in his spare time plays tennis at a local club.
Steve's driving passion in seeking to become a Borough Councillor is to represent and champion the views of the people of Guildford.
Steve says, "People tell me that the local issues that need to be addressed are the quality and safety of the roads; to improve the day-to-day quality of life such as access to GP services and environmental issues such as stopping the dumping of sewage in the River Wey. I will work to address these important issues and will try to make Guildford a better place to live."
