David has lived in Guildford town centre for sixteen years. He has been a Borough Councillor for twelve years and County Councillor for the past six years. David is particularly interested in licensing and planning matters. He strongly believes in limiting the number of taxi licenses, to their pre-2003 numbers, which will mean that taxi drivers won't have to worksuch long hours to make a decent living. As a member of the planning committee, he has opposed over-development in the town centre and protecting what little green space is left in the area.
